Governments around the world want to censor what we can and can't do no the web, that defeats the whole object of a World Wide Web if its restricted in certain countries, including the UK. Google are at the forefront of wanting a free internet, and this is something they are doing and backing.

Pledge your support for the free and open Internet:

“A free and open world depends on a free and open Internet. Governments alone, working behind closed doors, should not direct its future. The billions of people around the globe who use the Internet should have a voice.”

The Internet should ALWAYS be Free to do as you want , BUT there should be Stops put in place for Certain Type of People that use the Internet to look at Certain Pictures and Videos.

Them type of people should be Restricted on what they Do and watch and also Download. We shouldn't be the ones.

There should be the tools in place for the law to be upheld against those who break it via means online, but other than that there is no need for the government to get involved. The ISP can already track what most are doing online. How many levels of big brother do we need?!

It's not the ISP's its governments that want censorship of the internet. A good example of this was, the banning of The Pirate Bay, the ISP's where approached and asked to ban the site, they refused so a court order was obtained. The ISP's refused as like they say, it's not down to them to control what we do.

It's not about stopping illegal activities, its about control. None of the measures planned stop anything illegal, its to ensure that everything we do is tracked.

Google is the only major company in the world, that is actually trying to make a difference, and if anyone can, they can.
